First Steps

We encourage all parents and their children to tour Kids Crossing to get a feel for our day care facility and the daily routine of each classroom. We are open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. During the tour, you will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with the classroom teachers.

If your family decides to join Kids Crossing, we will give you an enrollment folder which contains the following forms that need to be completed and returned prior to your child’s first day of attendance. You can also download the forms from the links below.

*Please note that your child’s Health Report must be completed and signed by your child’s physician no later than 90 days after the first day of attendance.

Supplies

A list of items you should supply for your child is here and on each classroom page listed under Learning Centers.

Special Needs

At the time of enrollment, parents should notify their child’s teacher or the director if their child has any special needs (physical, emotional, social or cognitive). If a child develops a special need after enrollment, the parent should share this information with the teacher as soon as possible to ensure we continue to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children.

Parent Meetings

A parent meeting will be held on a regular basis each month. These meetings are an opportunity for families to communicate their needs, interests and concerns and to share important updates regarding the care and education of their children.
